Well, this morning I decided to take the later train. The train I normally take is at 07:21, and the next train is at 07:30. That meant I could sleep in a little longer.

So what happens? I overslept. Then I got to the station and realised that I had left my ticket at home, so I had to drive all the way back home, and then back to the station again. I got to the station only to discover that there were no more parking spots, so I had to park in a nearby street. Read more about My fun friday morning...

This is a bit of a late post... I've had a bit of a hectic week. I'll probably post another entry about this week later today or this evening.

Well, Friday night I decided it was time to clean out the fish tank. I needed to move it off the floor for winter, and you need to empty it in anycase, so why not clean it at the same time. However, this was more of a palava than it sounds. Read more about A weekend of cleaning - Friday night...

Well, Harry seems to be getting better. I took a good look at him while changing the water of the hospital last night, and the fin rot seems to be receding once again, so I'm confident of his return to health. In other words, the fish medicine seems to be working. This time however, I have decided to wait until I can't see anymore fungus on him before releasing him back to the tank. Hannah has a cellphone now. I mean, a South African cellphone. Yesterday I bought a starter pack for my old cellphone, which I'm giving to Hannah to use. Now I just need to get some airtime for her new phone.

For those of you who are wondering what her new number is, here we go: 079 535 0081. Of course if you live outside South Africa, it's +27 79 535 0081. I will arrive in Cape Town 4 weeks exactly from tomorrow! Yes, I'm VERY excited! Yesterday I sorted through all my books and got rid of the ones I'm not bringing- A LOT!- but I'm also keeping quite a few as well. I'll bring over as many as I can, and then Mom will bring the rest when the family comes for the wedding. I simply can't be without my books. There are times when Raoul won't be home, and I will need my books, hehe. Read more about Rings and things...

Well, I put poor old Harry back into hospital. The poor guy's fin rot seemed to be coming back. I think I'd better clean out the tank, since I haven't had a chance yet, as it might be that the tank is what is aggravating the fin rot. In the mean time, Harry is getting a "treatment" in the hospital: some fish medicine. So far I haven't really seen much of an improvement, but then again he's only been in the hospital for a few days.  Shame, poor chap, I really feel sorry for him. Read more about Cars and fish......

Well, I had my last trip to the dentist on Thursday- yay! No more dentist for at least a year hopefully!

In other news, there are only 39 days left until I'm in SA! (Which means that I'm about to get very motivated when it comes to packing.) I'm still rather lost about the whole thing, but I've got to start somewhere. Read more about Fly, be free!...

Well, Harry is back home. This evening I put him back in the fish tank with the others. He was a bit wary and slow to move in the beginning, but after about 5 minutes he was swimming around like he'd never left the tank. Read more about Harry is back home...

I got my new cellphone on Wednesday! A Sony-Ericsson M600i. w00t. Just what I always wanted.
